Review #6

Todays product is an absolute must for me, I don't think I could do without it. It is the Bourjois  Magic Nail Polish Remover, it costs £4.99. This is basically a nail polish remover which is cotton wool free. All you do is put your finger into the pot, and in the pot is a sponge, you rub your nail on the sponge and after about 2 seconds the nail polish is all gone. Depending who many coats of polish you have on your nail it could take longer.

The nail polish remover smells of red fruit and vanilla, which is much better then the normal chemical smell of remover, although it leaves your fingers feeling quite greasy so I usually wash them after using it but you don't have to.

I also use this nail polish remover to clean my nail art brushes. All I do is wipe them on the top of the sponge and then just put them in a bit of water to keep them soft.

Another good thing about this nail varnish remover is that it is really good for travelling because it is compact, all in one and it is also 75 ml which means you can take it in hand luggage on a plane. I highly rate this product.

I have rediscovered my new favourite mascara. This is the seventeen va va voom mascara. It usually costs £6.29 however I bought it on offer so it was only £4. This mascara gives great volume to my lashes without making them look too clumpy, which I find quite a common problem with highstreet/drugstore mascaras.

The package is really eye-catching which made me pick this up when I was younger. A few days ago I was going through my beauty draws and found it, so I started using it and I am really in love with it.

Review #4

I was watching some youtube July favourites videos and noticed that in almost every video one product was included. This was the Vaseline spray and go moisturizer. I decided I needed to test it, so I went to boots and bought it. It cost £4.99, which in my opinion is quite expensive for a moisturizer, however it works amazing.

There are three different smells/types, the aloe vera, the essential moisture and the cocoa butter. I tested all three in the shop and chose the aloe vera one as I thought it smelt the freshest and most like summer. When I got home I took a shower, once I got out the shower I tried my new moisturizer. I literally just sprayed it all over my body which took about 1 minute, and then rubbed it into my skin. Within about 30 seconds it had sunk into my skin and I could put on leggings without feeling sticky.

I would say that this product is amazing and I would defiantly recommend it however it is quite pricey.

Review #3

Since about April time I have been in love with painting my nails and doing nail art, I have tried so many designs, from despicable me nails, to Disney nails, to flags. My school doesn't allow you to have your nails painted so each weekend i used to come home and paint my nails.

I used to cut up the old nail polish brushes and make them really thin, to be able to create thin lines and I used the end of a hair slide to create dots. However a few weeks ago I went into the Topshop on Oxford Street and I went over to the nails section to test out all the different colours. I was just about to leave when I saw these pack of 8 brushes specifically designed for nail art. I decided that I couldn't not buy them.

The pack contained 8 brushes for £7 which was quite expensive however they are very good quality, and I know I will get a lot of use out of them. There is a dotting tool to create dots, a striping brush, a fan brush, both a small and large art brush, a small and large flat tip brush and an angular brush, all these brushes are used for different parts of the design.

Now that I have used these brushes for a few weeks i couldn't go back to trying to do nail art without them, I have included the link below in case anybody wants to check them out.

Review #2

Last night I used the Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask, and this morning I woke up and my skin felt and looked a lot better then in usually does. I got this product free when I signed up for the Body Shop rewards card, however normally it cost £10.

I use this mostly at night but have recently forgotten about it, now I have rediscovered it I am defanitly going to add it in to my face care routine. To use the mask, all you do is apply a good amount to a damp face, leave it for 5 minutes and then wash it off. The product is quite thick and when massaged into the skin becomes really warm. Compared to other face masks i would rate it quite high as it always makes my skin feel and look a lot healthier.

Music Monday

Today I've been stuck in the car for a couple of hours and so I have been listening to radio 1. I love radio 1 and i also love music. However I have phases of listening to music and being addicted to Itunes, and then for week or so I won't even open Itunes. Today I am starting my phase of listening to loads of music. I also decided that as well creating daily reviews, I am going to add weekly playlists of songs you should definitely check out. I decided I am going to this weekly on a Monday.

So here goes, these are my top 5 songs of the week (these are in no particular order by the way) :

1. Way in the World- Nina Nesbitt
A few weeks ago I went to a free unplugged gig by Nina Nesbitt on Brighton beach. She played all her songs, including this song... and i instantly fell in love with it, I have listened to this non stop ever since. I think it is amazing, Nina Nesbitt is defiantly someone to watch as she is a new upcoming artist.

2. The Big Bang- Rock Mafia ft. Miley Cyrus
I feel like this is a love hate kind of song, especially as it features Miley Cyrus, and I know many people aren't too keen on her. Some of you may have seen the film LOL, and this is where I first heard this song, it plays during the party scene. I instantly had to find out what the song was after hearing it. This song is just a chilled out song, its especially good to play at parties.

3. Wake Me Up - Avicii ft. Aloe Black
This is a classic summer anthem and I am in love with it. I know this song is really popular and is such an obvious choice to put in my top 10 as everyone has heard it. However I love it that much that I had to include it. Avicii is a class DJ all his songs have been amazing, but this is by far my favourite.

4. Unbelievers- Vampire Weekend
About a month ago I went to see the Gentlemen of the Road Tour at the Olympic Park. This was Mumford and Sons tour, they were supported by acts such as Haim, Ben Howard and Vampire Weekend. I have always been a fan of Vampire Weekend ever since my Mum and Dad went to the radio 1 big weekend in Maidstone in 2008. My parents bought the Vampire Weekend album and we used to listen to it repeat. During the Concert/Festival at the Olympic Park, Vampire Weekend played their new single, Unbelievers. This song is such a upbeat song perfect for summer.

5. 505- Arctic Monkeys
This song has been out since like 2007, its one of those songs I forgot I owned until I was listen to my music on shuffle and it started playing. This song is just so relaxed and reminds me of Summer a few years ago. I'm also a big fan of the Arctic Monkeys and might be seeing them in a few weeks at a festival, which I am really excited about.

I hope you enjoyed listening to some of these songs, sorry that the post isn't the best as it was a spur of the moment kind of thing. Leave in the comments some of your songs of the week.

Thanks :)

Today i am lovin my 'Pink Chiffon' perfume, from bath and body works. I purchased this perfume whilst I was in Dubai during the Easter Holidays. It cost 20 pounds, however it was buy one get one free, so i also bought another perfume.

This perfume has a really sweet sugary smell, it contains, sparkling red pear, vanilla orchid and whipped chiffon musk. It is a really girly summery smell and reminds me of sweets. This perfume is aimed more at teens then any other age group.

I am also in love with the box and bottle. The box is an average sized perfume box, it is pink with silver edges, on the front of the box is silver writing with multiple flowers. The bottle is also pink. The bottle is a good size as it is under 75ml you are able to take it on a aeroplane.

Overall this is my favourite perfume i have owned and is quite reasonable. When i run out I will definitely be repurchasing.

Introduction

Hi! I have decided to start up my own blog where i will review things daily. Letting you know what my favorite thing from each day has been, this may be a beauty product, a film, a piece of clothing or a song.

Hope you enjoy
